Day 1: Arrival in Munich (T/M)

Day 4: Neuschwanstein Castle Day Trip (M/T)
Füssen: Take an early train from Munich to Füssen.
Neuschwanstein Castle: Visit the famous fairytale castle and explore its royal interiors. Castle entry tickets sell out weeks ahead. Don't leave this one until you arrive in Munich. Pre-book your Neuschwanstein day trip now.
Marienbrücke: Walk to the bridge for the classic castle and Alpine views.
Return to Munich and take rest.
Day 5: Markets, Museums & More Celebrations (M)
Viktualienmarkt: Explore Munich's famous food market and browse its local produce, cheeses, specialities and beer garden. Savour it all with this guided tour.
Visit the Deutsches Museum or the Alte Pinakothek (art museum).
Return to the Wiesn for another evening in one of the major tents, such as Hacker-Festzelt or Augustiner-Festhalle.
Day 6: Hofbräuhaus & Oktoberfest Fairground (A)
You have a choice today.
Either visit the Hofbräuhaus: Munich's legendary beer hall for a traditional Bavarian breakfast.
Or reserve a seat to experience the famous Hofbräu Beer tent.
Oktoberfest Fairground: Ride the Riesenrad for panoramic views or try the Toboggan.
Spend your final evening in the tents. Enjoy the music, food, and festival atmosphere.
Day 7: Farewell Munich (T)
Final morning: Enjoy any remaining time in Munich before checking out.
Airport transfer: Take the S-Bahn (S1/S8) from central Munich to Munich Airport (MUC).
Departure: Fly home from MUC.

No reservation needed for entry. For guaranteed seating, reserve a table ahead of time. Otherwise, arrive early to look for unreserved seating.
👗 Traditional Dress
Tracht isn't mandatory, but a Dirndl or Lederhosen makes the experience feel much more authentic. Buy or rent yours before heading to the festival.
💧 Pace Yourself
A Maß (mass) is a full litre of beer and Oktoberfest beer is relatively strong. Drink water regularly and eat between rounds.

Cash remains important inside the tents for beer, food and tips. Don't rely only on cards.
🎒 Keep Bags Small
Backpacks and large bags are prohibited at Oktoberfest. Bags must not exceed 3 litres or 20 × 15 × 10 cm. Lockers are available near the entrances for larger items.
